Q-Vertical
An algorithmic decision framework that optimizes vertical density layouts in high-density cities.
Overview
An algorithmic spatial-utilization framework I designed and pitched at the Emlak Konut Ideathon, using multi-criteria decision models to optimize vertical density layouts and modern efficiency protocols. It earned high praise from the industry jury for its structural logic, feasibility matrix and tech-driven urban-engineering approach.
Problem
High-density zoning decisions are often made on intuition; there is no transparent model weighing competing constraints — light, access, cost, density — together.
Approach
I built multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) models to score vertical-layout scenarios and compared them through a feasibility matrix, turning the result into a jury-ready framework.
